Reports lets you convert a Lab research thread into a publication-ready PDF. Once you have completed a research conversation in Lab, cf0 uses that thread’s analysis, charts, and citations to generate a structured equity research report. You can edit the draft inline before exporting a branded PDF to share with your team or clients.

What a report includes

Each generated report contains:
  • A cover page with your firm’s branding
  • An investment summary and key metrics
  • Charts and data tables drawn from your Lab conversation
  • Inline citations linked to the original source documents
  • Standard report sections (thesis, financials, risks, disclosure)

Generate a report from a Lab thread

1

Run your research in Lab

Complete a research conversation in Lab. The more detailed the thread, the richer the generated report will be.
2

Open the Reports panel

In Lab, click Generate report in the thread toolbar. cf0 reads the conversation and drafts the report structure automatically.
3

Review and edit the draft

The draft opens in an inline editor. Click any section to edit the text directly. Charts and tables pulled from your Lab thread appear in place and are not editable — they reflect the live data from your analysis.
4

Export as PDF

Click Export PDF. cf0 renders the report with your organisation’s branding — logo, colours, and font — and downloads the file to your browser.
The more targeted your Lab thread, the tighter the generated report. Use a dedicated thread per company or thesis rather than mixing multiple topics in one conversation.

The Reports dashboard

The Reports page (accessible from the left sidebar) lists every report you have generated. From the dashboard you can:
  • View any report by clicking its row — the report opens in a side panel.
  • Go to thread to jump back to the original Lab conversation that generated the report.
  • Delete a report to remove it permanently.
Deleting a report does not delete the original Lab thread. The thread remains accessible in Lab.

Branding

Reports inherit your organisation’s branding automatically. Org admins configure the firm name, logo, and colour scheme in Settings. Every exported PDF reflects those settings without any manual formatting work.
