# Organizations

> Organisations are the core unit of access in cf0. Learn how to create an org, invite team members by email, and manage admin and member roles.

Every cf0 account belongs to an organisation. There are no personal accounts — the organisation is the workspace that ties together your team and shared research environment. All member seats, documents, and skills are scoped to the org you belong to.

## Create an organisation

When you sign up for cf0, you either create a new organisation or accept an invitation to join an existing one. If you are the first person at your firm to sign up, cf0 will prompt you to name your organisation during onboarding.

<Note>
  You must belong to an organisation to use cf0. If you arrive without an invitation, contact your org admin or reach out to the cf0 team to get set up.
</Note>

## Invite team members

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your organisation settings">
    Navigate to **Settings** and select your organisation from the top of the page, or go directly to the organisation management panel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the member's email address">
    Type the email address of the person you want to invite. cf0 sends them an email invitation with a secure signup link.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a role">
    Select either **Admin** or **Member** before sending the invitation (see roles below).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the invitation">
    Click **Invite**. The recipient receives an email and can join immediately by following the link. Their seat is active as soon as they complete signup.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Pending invitations are visible in your organisation settings. You can resend or revoke them at any time before they are accepted.
</Tip>

## Roles

cf0 uses two roles within an organisation:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Admin" icon="shield">
    Admins have full control over the organisation. They can invite and remove members, approve and publish shared Skills, manage Brand and Integrations, and access org-level usage data in the Dashboard.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Member" icon="user">
    Members can use Lab, Filings, Reports, Documents, and personal Skills. They see only their own usage data and cannot access org-level admin settings.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

You can change a member's role at any time from the organisation settings panel. At least one admin must remain in the organisation at all times.

## Seats

Each person you invite who accepts their invitation counts as one active seat. Seat-based pricing means one flat rate per analyst per month, regardless of usage — high-volume researchers and occasional users cost the same. Reach out to [filippo@cf0.ai](mailto:filippo@cf0.ai) to add or remove seats.

<Note>
  Removing a member from the organisation deactivates their seat. They will lose access to cf0 immediately.
</Note>

## Data isolation

Organisations in cf0 are fully isolated. No data, documents, queries, or reports cross organisation boundaries. Your team's research stays within your org.
